How can you participate? You are all invited to take a card from the Giving Tree by the foyer. Once you have bought the corresponding gift card, please leave it at the parish office. The gift cards you buy will be delivered to support one of the five organizations below: Eva’s House Transition home that provides a safe environment to women and children after fleeing domestic abuse. Harvest Project Helps people experiencing family trauma, illness, job loss, and threat of poverty. Luke 15 Supports men struggling with addiction to access a program in a safe and welcoming home. CoSa Reduces sexual victimization and assist people who have committed sexual offences to lead responsible and accountable lives in their communities. Birthright Provides support, guidance and reassurances to women facing unexpected pregnancies, and assistance with purchasing maternity and baby items and food.
Saturday, Dec 06, 2025 @ 12:30 PM - 6:00 PM Location : Holy Rosary Cathedral Hall Start your Advent with Trust, a mini-retreat for men, and end your Jubilee Year with a pilgrimage to the holy site of the Cathedral downtown! Deacon Tim Kostamo hosts an afternoon of food and fellowship, featuring special presentations on trust. Alan Grohovac will guide us through a heavenly experience of the Rosary and outdoor prayer. Join us for this hybrid Advent retreat to slow down and focus so we can prepare our minds and hearts for the birth of our beloved Baby Jesus and to share our love with others. The retreat will engage scripture, art, music, poetry, quiet time for personal reflection, prayer, and small group spiritual conversation. Sliding scale registration fees. Rite of Acceptance and Welcoming Sunday, Dec 13TH @ 10:30 AM Mass. Come and show your support to our new catechumens and candidates as they take this important step in their journey towards the Sacraments of Initiation. During this special Mass, they will affirm their commitment to continue their preparation and walk to deeper discipleship.
Saturday, December 13TH @ 11:30 AM Location: Holy Rosary Cathedral. The Archbishop’s Annual Mass for Life is a once-a-year pro-life event for all Catholics and those involved in the pro-life movement to pray for respect for human life, from conception to its natural end. The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Richard Smith followed by a light reception in the hall with live music. All are welcome!
