    Go Tell It On The Mountain – Advent Retreat

    Saturday, Dec 13, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location : St. Mark's Parish at UBC; Online via Zoom Are you seeking a space to slow down and open your heart to the love we receive at the birth of Jesus? Join us for this hybrid Advent retreat to slow down and focus so we can prepare our minds and hearts for the birth of our beloved Baby Jesus and to share our love with others. The retreat will engage scripture, art, music, poetry, quiet time for personal reflection, prayer, and small group spiritual conversation. Sliding scale registration fees. Please indicate at registration if you will participate in-person or via Zoom. Open to adults and university students.     Rite of Acceptance and Welcoming Sunday, Dec 13TH @ 10:30 AM Mass.  Come and show your support to our new catechumens and candidates as they take this important step in their journey towards the Sacraments of Initiation. During this special Mass, they will affirm their commitment to continue their preparation and walk to deeper discipleship.

    Mass For Life

    Saturday, December 13TH @ 11:30 AM Location: Holy Rosary Cathedral.  The Archbishop’s Annual Mass for Life is a once-a-year pro-life event for all Catholics and those involved in the pro-life movement to pray for respect for human life, from conception to its natural end. The Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Richard Smith followed by a light reception in the hall with live music. All are welcome!

    As we approach the joyful season of Christmas, we invite you to come together in faith and celebrate the birth of our Savior at St. Anthony's. Please join us for our special mass services as we share in the love, joy, and hope that this Holy Christmas season brings. We invite you to celebrate these sacred times with us and to bring your family and friends to experience the peace and love of Christ's birth.     Alpha

    What is Alpha? Alpha is a basic introduction to the Christian faith.  All guests are welcome for a great meal, great video and an open dialogue about life's big questions in a friendly, welcoming setting. It's no pressure, no cost, and you're more than welcome to just come check out the first few sessions to see if it's for you.  If you have never experienced Alpha - you are invited to come!
