    Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

    Friday, January 23, @7:00 PM - 9:00 PM, Location: Parish Hall and Church Join us for prayers, followed by a light dinner in the parish hall. For more information and Please RSVP at the parish office. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is an annual ecumenical celebration. Christians around the world are invited to pray for the unity of all Christians, to reflect on scripture together, to participate in jointly-organized ecumenical services, and to share fellowship. In the northern hemisphere, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is traditionally held every year between January 18th (the Feast of the Confession of Saint Peter) and January 25th (the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul). In the southern hemisphere, it is often celebrated during the Pentecost season. Your communities are invited to choose the dates that would be appropriate for your context. In the Gospel of John, Christ prays for his disciples before going to the cross. He asks that his followers “may all be one,” as he and the Father are one, “so that the world may believe” and have life in his name (John 17). This one-day training and outreach is open to all young adults (aged 19-39) who feel called to serve Jesus in the poor.     FEBRUARY 18 MASSES AT 9:00 AM & 6:30 PM AND EVERY FRIDAY OF LENT  6:30 PM MASS FOLLOWED BY STATIONS OF THE CROSS Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent, the beginning of a 40—day period of self-denial and reflection leading to Easter. On February 18 all parishioners are invited to receive ashes as we embark on our Lenten Journey.  Ash Wednesday, and all Fridays until Easter Sunday (April 05) are obligatory days of abstinence from meat, for those 14 and older in reasonable good health conditions.  “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return”

    Prep – Sacrament of Reconciliation

    Saturday, March 7 @ 10:00 AM, St Anthony's Parish Eight PREP students will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time. We thank the catechists, Mrs. Lara, Mrs. Young and Mrs. Mustard, who have been journeying with the children since October 2025 to prepare them for this special milestone in their spiritual life. Please pray for the children as they continue to prepare for the sacrament of 1st Holy Communion in June. Please also pray for 5 Confirmandi, who will be confirmed here at St. Anthony's at Pentecost.  We are welcoming children currently in grade 1 in public or private non-Catholic school to join St. Anthony's PREP after Spring break.
