Our meeting is the deadline to submit the Nomination form posted on the bulletin board outside the office. Please consider nominating yourself for a position on our executive.  Natasha Stegemann, our membership chair is acting as our elections chair. Natasha will collect nomination forms dropped off at the office.  Results will be presented at our November 24th meeting.  

 

ADVENT HALF DAY OF RECOLLECTION (Nov 28th)

Father Tony Diaz from Holy Rosary Cathedral will be our guest speaker at our Half Day of Recollection on Saturday November 28th.  Father Tony has suggested “Christian Hope” as the theme of his talk. 

 

Can you help organize this special event?  

We need someone to manage registrations/tickets and/or list of attendees)

We need 2 members to organize the purchase of the breakfast food.

We need 3 or 4 members to set the tables the afternoon of Nov 27th. 

We need a member to greet attendees/collect tickets or confirm reservations. 

We need 4 members (at least) to plate and serve breakfast. 

We need 3 members as clean up crew. 

 

Please consider helping out. 

 

SISTERS’ APPRECIATION DINNER: 8 February 2027

Region 3 is hosting and our Council is responsible for Registration. 

Let me know if you could help with this task.  It mainly consists of collecting registration forms and cheques mailed to our parish office and passing these (along with registrations received via email) to the council responsible for table assignments and the council responsible for the Treasurer role. The deadline to register is January 23rd. It might get busy as the deadline looms and/or when Councils ask for last minute changes.  (By the Way, let’s plan to fill promptly a table of 10 so we are in a nice location amongst the 40 tables at the Italian Cultural Centre.)
