    March 5th Mass Schedule 9:00 AM            6:30 PM Bring Last Year’s Palms! We invite all parishioners to bring in their blessed palms from last year to the parish office between Monday and Tuesday. We will be using them to make ashes for Ash Wednesday. Your participation helps us prepare for the season of Lent. Thank you!

Blessed is He who comesin the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!” (Philippians 3:8) Marking the beginning of Holy Week, Palm Sunday recalls and celebrates the day Jesus entered Jerusalem as Savior and King.As Jesus rode a donkey into the city, a large crowd gathered and laid palm branches and their cloaks across the road, giving Him royal treatment.

There will be baking, plants, jewelry, baby items, cards and a silent auction for a needlepoint Madonna. Be sure to Come to the Fair to enjoy all the wonderful offerings.     The annual March for Life in Victoria, BC takes place on Thursday, May 8. The participants meet at Centennial Square and march down Government Street to a rally at the parliament building. The March is a public witness to the sanctity of human life and a message to the provincial government of the need for changing the law to protect the most vulnerable, especially the unborn and the elderly. On Thursday, May 8, at 9:00 a.m. at the BC Legislative Assembly in Victoria.   • The Virginia Forsyth Bursary

    In memory of Virginia Forsyth, a former parishioner, a bursary was established which is administered by St. Anthony’s Parish. It provides funds to students studying at a Canadian post-secondary institute, who are parishioners of St. Anthony’s and who can demonstrate financial need. The Virginia Forsyth Bursary information package may be collected from the parish office. Completed application forms should be returned to the parish office by June 30th, 2025.
