Christ The Redeemer Lenten Retreat
March 23, 24 and 25. Time : 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, Location : Christ The Redeemer Parish Over three evenings, participants will be invited into a time of healing, mercy, and renewal through reflection, prayer, and worship: • Evening 1: Recognizing Our Wounds – with Deacon Steven Whan, followed by Stations of the Cross • Evening 2: Encountering the Healer – with Fr. Babu Mathew, followed by a Healing Mass • Evening 3: Restored and Sent Forth – with Deacon Tim Kostamo, followed by Adoration and Benediction. Praise and worship, prayers for healing, and fellowship will be part of this retreat.

FeaturedHoly Saturday April 4th @ 11:00 AM Location Foyer All parishioners are welcome to join us for this tradition, full of beautiful catholic symbolism. What to put in the basket? Eggs — symbol of Jesus’ tomb, representing His Resurrection. Meat — symbol of Jesus as The Lamb of God. Bread — reminds us that Jesus is The Bread of Life. Salt — reminds us that we are The Salt of the Earth. Oil and vinegar — symbol of the Passion of Christ and the bitter of Passover. Wine — symbol of the Blood of the Lord. A white candle — symbol of the Light of the World. Lastly, the basket is covered with white linen, symbolizing the shroud in which Christ’s body was wrapped.

These articles are hand crafted by the Christians of the Holy land. With every purchase, we will be supporting Christian families in staying rooted in the Land of Christ. 70 years ago, the Christian population in the Holy Land was 20%, now they are only 1% as more Christians feel pressured to leave their homeland for political reasons.
