What is Alpha? Alpha is a basic introduction to the Christian faith. All guests are welcome for a great meal, great video and an open dialogue about life's big questions in a friendly, welcoming setting. It's no pressure, no cost, and you're more than welcome to just come check out the first few sessions to see if it's for you. If you have never experienced Alpha - you are invited to come! The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is an annual ecumenical celebration. Christians around the world are invited to pray for the unity of all Christians, to reflect on scripture together, to participate in jointly-organized ecumenical services, and to share fellowship. In the northern hemisphere, the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is traditionally held every year between January 18th (the Feast of the Confession of Saint Peter) and January 25th (the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul). In the southern hemisphere, it is often celebrated during the Pentecost season. Your communities are invited to choose the dates that would be appropriate for your context.
