We have invited Father Hawkswell so we can celebrate the 45th anniversary of his ordination which is June 29th. For Catholics, it is the feast day of the nativity of St. John the Baptist. For the French-Canadian community in general, it is an important cultural holiday. Pope Pius X, in 1908, declared St. John the Baptist as the patron saint of all French-speaking Canadians, regardless of where they live in Canada. An evening Mass, celebrated in French by Father Larry Lynn, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Coquitlam. All are welcome!

From Tuesday July 14 to Friday July 17, Masses will be celebrated 6:30 PM instead of 9 AM by Father Hawkswell. The Church will be open during the day if you wish to come and pray. Regular schedule will resume on Saturday July 18 with 9 AM Mass

Please join us for a Thrift Sale Planning meeting Tuesday August 11th @1:30 PM in the parish hall. It would be great to hear your ideas ! One of the biggest challenges is how to Get The Word Out about our sale especially to our northshore neighbours who can really be helped by our wonderful bargains. We'd love to hear your suggestions. Our Thrift Sale is a lot of work but also a lot of fun ! And many hands make it a success. Thank You.

Location : Fraser River Heritage Park, Mission BC St. Joseph’s Parish, Mission, invites you to the historic Fraser River Heritage Park to celebrate the Holy Eucharist in honour of Our Lady at 1:00 PM. Archbishop Richard Smith will celebrate Mass, followed by procession to the grotto where the rosary will be prayed, and Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament. All are welcome!
