For more than 30 years, our sponsors have supported children experiencing poverty to overcome obstacles, finish school, and have a hope-filled future.  At the June 20 and June 21 Masses, Chalice will provide you the opportunity to begin a relationship with a child in the developing world through the benefits of Child Sponsorship. These are children in extreme poverty living in South America, Asia and Africa who need your support to excel in their education and fulfill their God-given potential. For Catholics, it is the feast day of the nativity of St. John the Baptist. For the French-Canadian community in general, it is an important cultural holiday. Pope Pius X, in 1908, declared St. John the Baptist as the patron saint of all French-speaking Canadians, regardless of where they live in Canada. An evening Mass, celebrated in French by Father Larry Lynn, will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Coquitlam. All are welcome!

Hope on the Horizon is a homeless outreach and leadership program with a choice of 1 week or 2.5 week Program, in downtown Vancouver. Live in community, receive faith formation, develop street ministry skills, and serve those in need while growing in your relationship with Christ.
