The annual March for Life in Victoria, BC takes place on Thursday, May 8. The participants meet at Centennial Square and march down Government Street to a rally at the parliament building. The March is a public witness to the sanctity of human life and a message to the provincial government of the need for changing the law to protect the most vulnerable, especially the unborn and the elderly. 10th May and 11th May, after each mass. Please have a look at the religious olive wood carvings that will be displayed for sale outside the church as you are leaving. These articles are hand crafted by the Christians of the Holy Land, who are seeking for your support to assist them in staying rooted in the land of Christ. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire religious articles that can be used as gifts for first communions, Christmas, or as a means of praying and providing comfort, strength, and even hope for people who are suffering. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, good food, and community spirit as we come together to celebrate our faith.
