The annual March for Life in Victoria, BC takes place on Thursday, May 8. The participants meet at Centennial Square and march down Government Street to a rally at the parliament building. The March is a public witness to the sanctity of human life and a message to the provincial government of the need for changing the law to protect the most vulnerable, especially the unborn and the elderly. On Thursday, May 8, at 9:00 a.m. at the BC Legislative Assembly in Victoria. Friday, June 13th @ 6:00 - 8:30 PM Join us for a joyful celebration of our Parish Feast Day! We will begin with 6:00 PM Mass, followed by a potluck in the parish hall. This is a wonderful opportunity for fellowship, good food, and community spirit as we come together to celebrate our faith. Saturday August 2nd @ 8:00 AM, St John The Apostle Parish, #5457 Trafalgar St, Vancouver BC. Join your voice with ours as we pray for respect for all human life. Hosted by the Archdiocese of Vancouver, we will begin with Mass, followed by the Rosary and other prayers.

Our annual picnic will take place on Sunday Sept 7th, 4-7 PM. Sign up in the foyer for attendance and/or volunteering.... Everyone is invited !! Dessert Contest at the Parish Picnic - bring your favorite homemade dessert.

Date: Saturday, October 4TH — 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Location: John Paul II Pastoral Centre. In the words of the Magnificat, Mary proclaimed to Elizabeth her gratitude for the wonderful action of God in her life. Please join us at a brunch for Catholic women of Vancouver where we will share together in that same spirit of gratitude and praise. After brunch, there will be a time of prayer for the needs of all present and an opportunity to hear one woman's experience of the transforming love of Christ in her own life. Sunday October 5TH @ 2:00 PM Location: Front lawn of the Church  Bring your pets to our blessing of the animals in honour of St. Francis of Assisi and his love of animals. Please ensure your pet is on a leash or in a cage. Invite your pet-owning friends and neighbours to this community event! 

Sign up at the parish vestibule and pray for a seminarian! Please continue praying for our seminarians as they journey towards priesthood. This initiative helps to provide encouragement for those preparing for ordination.  This coming Holidays, it would be great for them to hear from you with a Christmas Card. Contact the office for more information. 

Following 4:30 PM holy mass, Saturday, November 1 @ 6:00 PM in St Anthony's Parish. Prayers for our faithful departed followed by a light dinner. RSVP in the vestibule. Everyone is welcome to bring a photo of their loved ones.
