Meat — symbol of Jesus as The Lamb of God. Bread — reminds us that Jesus is The Bread of Life.  \nSalt — reminds us that we are The Salt of the Earth.  \nOil and vinegar — symbol of the Passion of Christ and the bitter of Passover.  \nWine — symbol of the Blood of the Lord.  \nA white candle — symbol of the Light of the World.  \nLastly\, the basket is covered with white linen\, symbolizing the shroud in which Christ’s body was wrapped.
