Come and join us for an Easter Blessing of Baskets upstairs. This tradition from the Middle Ages, started in Italy and Spain, and is now popular in Slavic countries, Poland, Germany and Austria.
What to put in the basket?

Meat—Jesus is the Lamb of God,
Salt and Bread. You can also add something sweet, like a pastry or pie
Following the blessing, come downstairs to the parish hall for a coffee and discussion with Konrad Kobielewski, vice president of the Canadian Polish Congress, on the background and future of the annual Polish Festival, an important North Shore tradition. Everyone is Welcome ! We hope to see you there.
